Health Care Assistant / Caregiver required for a Full time position.

Mercy Parklands is a private hospital providing excellent residential care, with a proud history spanning more than 30 years. We are a not-for-profit organisation comprising of 97 beds, located in Ellerslie, Auckland.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Preferred experience as a Health Care Assistant in a Hospital setting
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in care of the elderly – preferable
  • Strong resident focus with great communication skills
  • Ability to work all shifts including night shifts and weekends as rostered   60-72 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
  • Commitment to quality improvement and service development
  • HCA Level 3 or 4 qualifications would be an advantage
  • Dementia Care training and experience would be preferable
